Louisa Meng is a Los Angeles–based photographer whose work centers on stillness, soft juxtapositions, and quiet intimacy. Working primarily with film, her approach carries the timelessness of nostalgic photography into a modern context, distilled into a language that is both simplistic and explicit.

2025 marks her first self-published photo book and the beginning of an annual series. The collection commemorates selected works from the past year all shot on film and polaroid —featuring editorials in three different cities, each unique to a significant time and ethos that was experienced.
